Journal Title：Journal Of Modern Italian Studies
The Journal of Modern Italian Studies (JMIS) is an academic journal dedicated to modern Italian studies, covering a variety of fields including political, economic, cultural and social history. The journal is dedicated to the publication of high quality scholarly articles and book reviews aimed at advancing an in-depth understanding of modern and contemporary Italy.
The journal places special emphasis on the study of Italy in a transnational and intercultural context, encouraging scholars to adopt a comparative and interdisciplinary approach to the historical, cultural and social phenomena of Italy. This transnational perspective not only helps to reveal the uniqueness and complexity of Italy in the process of globalization, but also provides a new perspective for understanding similar issues in other countries and regions. The journal's articles and book reviews cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to Italian national identity, migration and multiculturalism, social movements, economic development, political change, cultural production and consumption, and Italy's role in Europe and the world.
