Journal Title：Advances In Clinical And Experimental Medicine

Advances in Clinical and Experimental Medicine has been published by the Wroclaw Medical University since 1992. Establishing the medical journal was the idea of Prof. Bogumi? Halawa, Chair of the Department of Cardiology, and was fully supported by the Rector of Wroclaw Medical University, Prof. Zbigniew Knapik. Prof. Halawa was also the first editor-in-chief, between 1992-1997. The journal, then entitled "Post?py Medycyny Klinicznej i Do?wiadczalnej", appeared quarterly.

Prof. Leszek Paradowski was editor-in-chief from 1997-1999. In 1998 he initiated alterations in the profile and cover design of the journal which were accepted by the Editorial Board. The title was changed to Advances in Clinical and Experimental Medicine. Articles in English were welcomed. A number of outstanding representatives of medical science from Poland and abroad were invited to participate in the newly established International Editorial Staff.

Prof. Antonina Har?ozińska-Szmyrka was editor-in-chief in years 2000-2005, in years 2006-2007 once again prof. Leszek Paradowski and prof. Maria Podolak-Dawidziak was editor-in-chief in years 2008-2016. Since 2017 the editor-in chief is prof. Maciej Bag?aj.

Since July 2005, original papers have been published only in English. Case reports are no longer accepted. The manuscripts are reviewed by two independent reviewers and a statistical reviewer, and English texts are proofread by a native speaker.

The journal has been indexed in several databases: Scopus, Ulrich’sTM International Periodicals Directory, Index Copernicus and since 2007 in Thomson Reuters databases: Science Citation Index Expanded i Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition.

In 2010 the journal obtained Impact Factor which is now 1.179 pts. Articles published in the journal are worth 15 points among Polish journals according to the Polish Committee for Scientific Research and 169.43 points according to the Index Copernicus.

Since November 7, 2012, Advances in Clinical and Experimental Medicine has been indexed and included in National Library of Medicine’s MEDLINE database. English abstracts printed in the journal are included and searchable using PubMed http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed.

《臨床和實驗醫(yī)學進展》自 1992 年起由弗羅茨瓦夫醫(yī)科大學出版。創(chuàng)辦這本醫(yī)學雜志的主意來自心臟病學系主任 Bogumi? Halawa 教授，弗羅茨瓦夫醫(yī)科大學校長 Zbigniew Knapik 教授也全力支持該雜志。Halawa 教授還是 1992 年至 1997 年間的第一任主編。該雜志當時名為“Post?py Medycyny Klinicznej i Do?wiadczalnej”，每季度出版一次。

Leszek Paradowski 教授于 1997 年至 1999 年間擔任主編。1998 年，他發(fā)起了對雜志簡介和封面設計的修改，并得到了編輯委員會的認可。雜志標題改為《臨床和實驗醫(yī)學進展》。歡迎英文文章。一批來自波蘭和國外的杰出醫(yī)學代表受邀加入新成立的國際編輯團隊。

Antonina Har?ozińska-Szmyrka 教授于 2000-2005 年擔任主編，Leszek Paradowski 教授于 2006-2007 年再次擔任主編，Maria Podolak-Dawidziak 教授于 2008-2016 年擔任主編。自 2017 年起，Maciej Bag?aj 教授擔任主編。

自 2005 年 7 月起，原創(chuàng)論文僅以英文發(fā)表。不再接受病例報告。稿件由兩名獨立審稿人和一名統(tǒng)計審稿人審閱，英文文本由母語人士校對。

該期刊已被多個數(shù)據(jù)庫收錄：Scopus、Ulrich’sTM 國際期刊目錄、哥白尼索引，自 2007 年以來被收錄在湯森路透數(shù)據(jù)庫：科學引文索引擴展版 i 期刊引文報告/科學版。
